Send a Parcel in the UK with InPost Direct

Discover how to send a parcel with InPost Direct, either Locker to Door, Shop to Shop, Shop to Door or with our Door to Door collection service, choose what is best for you and your recipient.

It’s really easy to send a parcel through InPost Direct. We have thousands of conveniently located InPost Lockers and InPost Direct Shops across the country where you can drop off your parcels into the InPost Direct network. Plus, with our Door to Door service, we’ll even collect your parcels from your home or business.

You have a choice of three delivery options through InPost Direct; Send a parcel to another InPost Shop anywhere in the country, deliver directly to your recipient’s door when you drop parcels into your local InPost Locker or InPost Shop, or have our couriers collect your parcels from you and deliver directly to your recipient

To get started, enter your parcels details and select the service that is right for you. Then once you've selected to print your label at home, at a InPost Shop or if you go with our labelless option though InPost Lockers, just drop your parcel off when it suits you. With our Door to Door collection service, you’ll need to print your labels off and attach them to your parcels using our print at home option.

We’ll keep you and your recipient up to date with your parcel’s journey through the InPost Direct network through email and will confirm once the parcel has been delivered.

Head to the My Account section in InPost Direct to keep a track of your parcel’s journey too, as well as keep an eye on all your other parcels delivered by InPost Direct.

There are options to add additional insurance cover to protect your items in case of loss or damage or use our bulk upload tool making it easier to upload details and send multiple InPost Direct deliveries in one go.

What can I send using InPost Direct?

You can send lots of items using InPost Direct, including Books, CDs, DVDs. Clothes and fashion accessories (e.g. handbags, belts) and Small electrical equipment. You can see if your item can be sent by checking our prohibited items list here

How should I package my parcel to be sent?

Before buying your label please check that we can accept your parcel.

What size and weight parcel can I send with InPost Direct

That depends on the service that you are using. For parcels being sent through InPost Lockers, the maximum dimensions for parcels to fit in a locker are 41cm x 38cm x 64cm. We accept parcels measuring up to 60x50x50cm and up to 10 kg in weight for our Shop to Shop and Shop to Door services. For our Door to Door service, our maximum dimensions are 120x50x50cm and up to 15 kg in weight.
